Tottenham Hotspur’s Argentine centre-back Cristian Romero has admitted he would like to play in La Liga in the future because it is a league he would like to experience.
Romero has been link with a move to Atletico Madrid and is expect to make an offer this summer as he is a target for manager Diego Simeone.

“I want to play in La Liga because it’s a league I’ve never played in,” Romero replied.
“I’m trying to take it one day at a time. There are almost two months left in the season. My goal is to give it my all and try to finish the season as best I can.”
“We are also in the Europa League semi-finals, which is an important step for the club after many years of not reaching this stage.”
“We’ll see after that. The truth is I haven’t spoken to my agent yet, but I’m open to everything. Growth is always on my mind, as well as going to new places to continue developing myself.”
